We had a fantastic Thanksgiving! We were lucky enough to have two Thanksgiving dinners--one in the afternoon with our great friends Brandon and Stacie Valgardson and their cute kiddos, the missionaries, Elder Davis and Elder Mitchell, and Brandon's friend Clint. Brandon and Stacie did a wonderful job hosting Thanksgiving at their home. The food was delicious and Stacie's table was beautiful! She and Caleb worked all week making fun decorations and cute treats to take home.

Elder Davis couldn't get over how great the table and food looked!

Ok, I want to take her home with me!

Then came Thanksgiving at our house with Jody and Dieter. They are moving to Washington DC this weekend, and we are so sad! We have become such great friends so quickly, and we are so sad to see them go. But we are so glad to have had the chance to spend time with them and get to know them! We are also excited for a future trip to DC!

Dieter and Rich carving the turkey...neither of them really knew what they were doing, and Jody seemed a little worried..

It was a fabulous Thanksgiving break filled with lots of fun gathering with great friends, playing games, watching Christmas movies, and thinking of our blessings. Wemissed our families like CRAZY, but we're so excited to see them in less than 3 WEEKS!!!

Looks like you had SO much fun! We missed you tons, but knowing that we'll see you so soon helped the hurt "a bit" (as Ty would say).
Love you!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful holiday with us! What fun. P.S. About that upcoming trip to D.C. . . . Richmond is only a few hours away! We hope you'll keep us posted. We'd love to see you then, too!
