Random--what we've been up to

We've been getting settled in to our life, routine, etc. here in Oregon...it's hard to believe we've lived here for a month! It is beautiful here, the weather could honestly not be better...the days are usually highs of around 80, sometimes 70 and it dips down to 60 at night and in the morning. It is lovely!!

Every weekend during the spring/summer Grants Pass has a cute little farmer's market that is open downtown, and we ventured down this past weekend. It was fun! We got a homemade doughnut that was absolutely delish! They make them right there while you watch, so when you get them they are warm and they seriously melt in your mouth... heaven.
After the farmer's market we came home and had a picnic in our backyard.

My dad has a rep he works with who lives in Salem but part of her territory is in Grants Pass, so my dad will be able to come visit from time to time! He came and spent a couple nights with us last week, it was SO fun to have him. Brynlie enjoyed her time with grandpa so much! She wouldn't leave his side!

My family is driving up this weekend to spend the 4th of July with us, hooray! We are going to go to the beach and my mom and I have all kinds of fun projects planned! Then we will be heading down to Utah the beginning of August for a Bird family reunion. I'm starting to teach piano lessons next week, and Rich was just called to be the Young Men's president in our ward. Between that and our crazy girl, we are staying plenty busy! Hope everyone is having a fun summer!
