This week we partied hard! Richard had to work in the OR on Brynlie's birthday, and on his surgery days we never know how long he will be at work. So we decided to bump her birthday to the following day, and just not tell her it was her birthday until the day after. We figured she was barely 3, and wouldn't know the difference. That way Rich could celebrate all day with us. Well, she went to preschool on her birthday, and what did they learn that day? The date. When they said October 18th, she stopped, thought for a minute, and said, "Hey! October 18th is my birthday!" Luckily we were able to brush passed it and I don't think she really thought much else about it, but still. Sheesh.
Anyway, we ended up pretty much celebrating her birthday all week long in some way or another.
We brought in the birthday week with a bang by going to Red Robin last weekend

And of course we had to ride the merry-go-round
Then in honor of George we visiting his grave, and let off Brynlie's birthday balloons. We watched until they disappeared in the sky. We think they made it to George in time for him to celebrate Brynlie's birthday :)
We had a big bash for Brynlie's birthday...it was her first near all of her family, so we had all our grandmas and grandpas and greats, as well as some uncles, aunts, and cousins.
We also took her to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point...I don't know how I only have this picture...but she had a blast!
Whew! What a fun week of partying! Thanks everyone for spoiling her to death!
