2 years ago. I was laying on the couch, watching a Miracle on 34th street, when my water broke. We weren't quite sure what to do, so we finished watching the movie. Then we went to the hospital, checked in, and we waited. A few hours (one epidural and a few pushes) later, she was here. She was so beautiful. We couldn't believe she was ours. The next few weeks were filled with sleepless nights, doctors appointments, dirty diapers, and a whole lot of learning. I never could have imagined how she would fill our heart and home with so much love!
Fast forward:
Brynlie today:
LOVES spaghetti, marshmallows, apple juice, "choco" chips
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Clifford, Tangled, Ratatouille aka "mouse"
Playing with her babies, going on walks and bike rides, playing at the park, running, jumping, reading stories in her closet, snuggling all her toys with blankies
Can't sleep without her teddy and dolly
Says "no leave you" whenever we go anywhere
Wants a popsicle when she gets a "bonk bonk"
Loves to go to time out. Seriously.
I'd say she's a mellow, gentle, sweet, feminine, quiet, obedient, little girl. But that wouldn't be quite right. She's fiesty, noisy, crazy, hyper, has an attitude, silly, and makes me tired. No, exhausted. But THAT is what I love about her. She makes me laugh. She makes me better. Every day.
